Who reviews my results?
Your dedicated licensed clinician reviews your panel alongside your history, symptoms, medications, and goals. EverSpan’s health team includes physician assistants and nurse practitioners, with medical leadership from Chief Medical Officer Brad Jacobs, MD, MPH.
Brad Jacobs, MD, MPH
Board-certified in internal and integrative medicine. Founding medical director of UCSF’s Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, with an MD from Stanford and an MPH from UC Berkeley.
He co-authored the American College of Physicians’ evidence guide to complementary therapies. His medical leadership helps shape EverSpan’s clinical standards and care model.
What happens at the results consultation?
You meet by video to discuss the findings and ask questions. Your clinician explains their recommendations, helps you identify priorities, and works with you on practical next steps. The findings and recommendations are documented in your medical record.
What can be part of my plan?
Your plan may include recommendations for food, movement, sleep, or stress, with supplements and prescription treatment where clinically appropriate. Your clinician considers what you already take and what is realistic for your routine.
Clinical guidance is included in membership. Supplements, medications, and additional testing are separate purchases. You are not required to buy them. Prescribing depends on your circumstances and your clinician’s judgment.
How does concierge messaging work?
Text your clinician with questions about your results, recommendations, refills, or changes in how you feel. Unlimited concierge messaging is included while your membership is active. Your health team has your history and plan to refer to.
Messaging supports your ongoing care; it does not promise an immediate response or provide emergency care. You do not need to wait for the next lab panel to raise a concern about your plan.
Does someone follow up with me?
Care coordinators help arrange your next milestone. If two attempts go unanswered, your clinician reaches out directly. Scheduled check-ins and repeat testing provide time to assess how the plan is going and make changes together.
